Support

One person builds and answers this. Write in and you get a real reply, not a ticket number.

LAST UPDATED 27 JULY 2026

Email cybertec44@yahoo.comusually within one business day. Include your macOS version, the app version (Lead Scraper → About), and what you did just before it went wrong. That usually turns two days of back-and-forth into one reply.

The Scrape button is greyed out

Two causes, and the app tells you which in the message bar at the bottom of the window.

  • “Sign in to scrape” — an account is required. Settings (⌘,) → Account. It is free and takes no card.
  • “You’ve used all 10 free scrapes this month” — the free allowance resets on the 1st. Settings → Account shows how many are left and the exact reset date, or upgrade to Solo for unlimited.

Everything you have already scraped stays readable, sortable, exportable and sendable at zero remaining. The cap stops you gathering more; it never locks you out of what you have.

“Can't reach the server to check your monthly scrapes”

You are offline, or our backend is. The free allowance is counted on our server, so without a connection there is no way to check it and the scrape is refused rather than handed to you uncounted.

Paid accounts do not hit this: Solo and Pro keep scraping offline for up to seven days on a cached entitlement, which is the whole point of having one.

“Set the Runs folder in Settings”

The app drives a scraper that lives outside it, so it needs two paths: the folder containing the scraper engine, and the folder its results are written to. Settings (⌘,) → Folders. Auto-detect finds both on most machines; if it does not, set them by hand and the field turns green when a path is valid.

AI drafting is missing or greyed out

Drafting requires Apple Intelligence to be switched on for your Mac, in System Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. It is off by default on a new machine.

With it off, everything else works normally — scraping, scoring, contact tracking, sequences and sending. You just write the emails yourself.

Sync is not showing up on my second Mac

  • Sync is a Solo and Pro feature. On the free plan nothing leaves the first Mac by design.
  • Both Macs have to be signed in to the same account. Settings → Account will show the same email on each.
  • A cycle runs every five minutes. Settings → Account → Sync has a Sync Now button and shows when the last one finished.
  • On first sign-in the app backfills your 20 most recent runs. Older ones stay on the original Mac — the Account pane says how many were left behind. Contact notes, sequences and lead history all sync in full, however old.

A sequence stopped sending

That is usually correct behaviour. A sequence pauses itself the moment a reply is detected from that address, so nobody receives a follow-up after they have already answered you. The lead shows as Responded in the inspector.

If it stopped without a reply, open the lead and check the step for an error — a rejected send records the reason against the step that failed.

The app will not open, or the download will not install

Lead Scraper requires macOS 26+ · Apple silicon. It will not launch on an Intel Mac or on an older macOS, and there is no workaround for either — the app is built against APIs that do not exist on those systems.

You are running version 1.0.2. Check Lead Scraper → About to confirm yours.

Billing, upgrades and cancelling

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Upgrade from Settings → Account; the plan changes as soon as the payment clears, though you may need to hit Refresh in that pane to see it.

Cancel any time — you keep paid features until the end of the period you have paid for, then drop to the free plan. Your leads stay on your Mac either way. Cancelling does not delete anything locally.

Deleting your account

Email cybertec44@yahoo.com from the address on the account. Your account and everything synced to it is deleted within 30 days. Anything on your Mac is yours and stays there; export it to CSV first if you want a copy.

Found a bug

Send the steps that trigger it and a screenshot if there is anything to see. If the app crashed, macOS keeps a report — open Console → Crash Reports, find the newest entry named Lead Scraper, and attach it. Those reports are worth more than any description.
